Loving Large Titles

Over the past several months I have been trying out different design styles on my scrapbook pages in an effort to find my personal style. I am relatively new to 12x12 layouts so I am still finding the design aesthetic that I like the most.

Currently I am in love with a simple, graphic style. Using a lot of black and white patterns, large text and clean lines is very appealing to me. At the moment I have a crush on large titles. For this layout I created a large title at the bottom of the page where each letter is in a different patterned paper. I used my Felicity Jane kits for this layout. I also did some hand stitching to add some texture. Hand stitching it tedious and time consuming, but it is a great way to be crafty while watching a favorite movie.

Obsessed with Bows

Well, it is fair to say that I have an obsession with bows! I just love bows! I have hardly made a scrapbook page recently that doesn't have a bow on it somewhere. In this layout I allow my bow obsession to take over!

Craft Organization: My Scrapbooking Table

Currently I am using my dining room table as my scrapbooking headquarters. We really don't use our dining room table, so it is not a big deal that I have completely taken it over with my scrappy stuff. I really like working on the dining room table because I have a much larger work space than the desk in my den. When I am scrapbooking I like to watch TV or movies and the dining room table has the perfect view of the TV. The dining room table is the perfect spot for me to get crafty!

My First Process Video

I am so happy to share my very first scrapbook layout process video. I created this fun layout with my Felicity Jane kits!

I hope you enjoy seeing how this layout came together.

Craft Organization: My Raskog Cart

When I moved my scrapbooking headquarters to the dining room table I invested in a Raskog cart from Ikea. This was one of the best purchases that I have ever made. Not only is the cart the perfect color and adorable, it is very functional and keeps all of my most used scrapbooking supplies near by. Since it is on wheels, I can easily roll it to wherever I want to.

Project Life: A Look Back and 2016 Plans

I am still doing Project Life this year, but I did change it up a little bit. I was getting a bit bored with Project Life, but I still really like the concept of the project. So, to get excited about it again I switched to a 9x12 format. I am totally in love with this new size!

To hear more about my thoughts on my past Project Life pages and my plans for 2016 take a look at this video.

I'm Back!

Hello there! It's been a LONG time since I have blogged. While I have been absent I have been busy getting crafty. I am still doing Project Life, but last year I expanded my memory keeping into 12x12 scrapbook layouts. I am having so much fun exploring my creativity. Take a look at my Flickr gallery of all of the layouts that I have created.
