Make it Monday: Completed 2013 December Daily

In 2013 I made a December Daily. If you are not familiar with a December Daily, it is a project that documents everyday in December. After taking a picture everyday, at the end of month print your pictures and compile them into a mini album. December Dailies are a fun and quick way to document the holiday season.

This is the first year that I made a December Daily. I took a two step approach to it. At the end of November, I started creating my foundation pages. This was my first step. (You can see how I set those pages up in my December Daily Foundation Pages video) The second step was adding pictures to my foundation pages.

At the beginning of January I looked through my pictures and picked out a few photos that captured each of the 31 days in December. Once my pictures were printed, it was easy! I had the pages already made up so all I had to do was glue in the pictures, add my journaling and a few more embellishments. Because I got carried away with photos and embellishments, my December Daily spans across two albums. This was a really fun project and I will definitely make one for December 2014.

Project Life Share: Week 8

Slowly but surely I am getting caught up with Project Life. Week 8 is finished! I didn't have many pictures this week, so it came together pretty quickly. This week I used a My Minds Eye collection from my stash. I like everything to match, so I usually work with one kit or collection per week. I am happy with my Week 8 spreads and I hope you enjoy looking at them.

Cruise Planning Series: Things To Do Prior to Departure

Planning is the key to success. In my opinion, planning for a vacation is just as important.

Taking a cruise is an investment, so you want to make the most of the experience. A little planning ahead will make your vacation experience much more relaxing. Instead of scrambling around at the last minute, do small things ahead of time to avoid rushing and forgetting things.

After going on several cruises, I have compiled a list of things that I think are helpful to do before your cruise departs. There are things you can do 30-60 days prior to departure, and things you can do 5-10 days prior to departure. Using this checklist has helped me get things done more efficiently, and I don't have to scramble around at the last minute wondering if I have everything done.

You can download my "Things To Do Prior to Cruise Departure" checklist here.

A complete list of all of my cruise printables is located on my printables page as well.

I hope you find it helpful! If you have any cruising tips, leave a comment!

Project Life Share: Week 7

My spreads for Week 7 are finished! I used a mishmash of products to complete these spreads. I used some of my February Studio Calico Project Life kit and some pieces from the Elle's Studio February kit. To embellish my pages, I used pieces of the January and February Freckled Fawn kits and I pulled some things from my stash.
